Crocodile Tears?

In an interview, after the federal decision to allow competition in the cellphone market, Rogers chief executive officer Nadir Mohamed warned that the wireless market could not sustain a fourth national service. Rogers is the country's largest mobile phone service provider.

“There's no question in my mind that Canada cannot support more than three national facilities-based players,” said Mr. Mohamed. “It's inconceivable to me.”

Many translate his words as really saying, “This is not good. Now we cannot continue to radically gouge Canadians as we have been doing in the past.”
